We have the answer! A specialist machinery manufacturer needed a conveyor system to remove scrap from a large roll-forming machine. This scrap metal varies from small slugs of 2mm diameter to sheet off-cuts at 250x900mm size. Solution: The Rusmail Belt Conveyor system starts beneath the roll-forming machine, running at a shallow incline approximately 5m with a clearance of only 350mm from the floor. Scrap from this conveyor is then transferred to a second steep-inclined belt conveyor, approx. 2m long outside the machine to deposit the scrap in a waste collector. The steep-inclined conveyor is fitted with side walls and flights. Both units are fabricated in lightweight aluminum. |
