|In particular one is for handling bulky, heavy furniture products for a major company in the West Midlands. The equipment to be supplied involves a 1 metre wide heavy duty mezzanine floor powered belt conveyor moving goods directly from the Goods In area to a 3 m high mezzanine floor and then to a run of gravity roller conveyor on the mezzanine floor.
A second belt conveyor moves picked items from the mezzanine floor down to the ground floor Despatch area where these are loaded into delivery vehicles. This is a fast-track project with all equipment to be delivered and installed during January 2005.

|Another project involves a powered belt conveyor system for moving small packages to an automatic sealing unit.
A control system including software design and PLC control cubicle, sensors, interlocks etc. is part of our scope of work. This equipment is ultimately to be installed overseas. The conveyors will be our QD (Quick Delivery)style of integral drum driven belt conveyors. More details will follow when these projects are completed.

|This series of standardised powered belt conveyors with integral drum drive motors may provide a short lead-time solution to any urgent handling problem. We are supplying a 5 m long belt conveyor with 600 mm wide belt for handling empty PE plastic bottles as part of a waste recycling system. Lead time - 2 working weeks.|
We are retrofitting several existing stores where the amount and weight of goods to be handled manually is excessive. For Health and Safety reasons a mechanical system is now necessary and our heavy duty powered belt conveyors will be installed to move goods up to 100 kg in weight, to and from the mezzanine floors.
|For a major UK engineering company, we have just supplied a gravity roller conveyor to act as a weighing station varying loads up to 450 kg are to be moved on a 2 m length of heavy duty rollers mounted on a framework with load cells built into the conveyor supports. The load readings are measured and transmitted electronically to a central readout panel. Because the work area requires regular wash down, the roller conveyor and framework were fabricated in stainless steel.|
